Have you ever had a cup of Hawaiin coffee?
When we were in Kauai we started everyday with a pot of Kona Coffee that was best coffee I have ever had.
Here is an interesting fact…
Hawaii is the only state that grows coffee.
They even have the Hawaii Coffee Association that promotes Hawaii coffee within the state as well as to increase exports.
So what makes Hawaii coffee so good?
Similar to really good wines, Kona Coffee processing methods are crucial to obtaining the superb end product. Most small growers simply sell the coffee cherry they harvest to a processor, and that’s the end of their involvement.
Only Estate Coffees carry the personal stamp of care and knowledge on their product.
You can watch coffee being made in Hawaii too! Most of the harvesting is done from Sept. thru Dec. and you can tour coffee plantations if you like.
Buy only 100% Kona Coffee and not coffee blends with 10% Kona. You will be glad you did. http://www.konaearth.com/

Did you know Hawaii is the most isolated place on earth?
If your goal is to get away in this world Hawaii would be the place to go!
Here’s why…..
- Hawaii is 2,390 miles from California
- 2551 miles Los Angeles
- 3,850 miles from Japan
- 4894 miles from New York

When you are that far away from everyone you need your own time zone. Hawaii has its own time zone (Hawaiian Standard Time.) There is no daylight savings time. The time runs two hours behind Pacific Standard Time and five hours behind Eastern Standard Time.
