Lanai is the Pineapple Island of Hawaii. As the name implies, most of the pineapples are produced in this island. Manele Bay, Lanai is where the pineapples are shifted as it has the only public harbor in Lanai.

There is more to Manele Bay. You must be aware of the following things about it.

Manele Bay is located on the South Coast of Lanai, eight miles from Lanai City.

When you come from Maui, you will arrive at Manele Bay as the ferries drop their anchor here.

Manele ocean floor is consisted mostly of sand and gravel.

Manele Bay preserves the marine life. It is a territory where the government ensures the perpetuation of marine life and the geological formations.

At the east end of Manele Bay, there lies the white sand beach. Snorkeling and scuba diving is very pleasant as tourists frequent this lovely area.

Manele Bay is the easiest beach to access in Lanai with only a few miles from the city.

It is a fantastic location to stay low and relax under the heat of the sun.

Young children can have fun in the beach because the shore is constantly shallow. Parents don’t have to worry and can even let them play in the water alone.

Manele Bay is not big but big enough to accommodate all the boats on the port.

It has showers and rest rooms along the seashore available for tourists.

When you go to Lanai, it is utterly impossible to miss Manele Bay.
