Hanauma Bay Hawaii
Hanauma Bay in Hawaii is a huge and incomplete circular bay that has been made a reserve for marine animals and it is centered on the protection and preservation of marine life. There are laws mandated by the state of Hawaii that strictly punishes abusers of natural resources particular in the area of this bay.
This much pampered bay is shallow enough for many tourists to enjoy and experience unlimited wading aimlessly, snorkeling and finding almost extinct marine species and responsible scuba diving.
This bay was created mindlessly as some outside partition of a nonresponsive volcanic cone caved in. This made the great Pacific Ocean to charge in making shallow and noisy waves that goes deeper in the winter season.
Its sea floor is a hundred years young developed from a blend of coarse sand and several types of colorful corals. You can be lucky enough if you see about 500 types of big and small fishes in the bay’s area. Usually you will find just the right number as I have mentioned.
Here resides the state fish called humuhumunukukuulualua which is not very famous because it is difficult to say and memorize. This state fish belongs to the reef triggerfish species.
The beautiful beach has white pure sand with some sea grass species healthily thriving within under the generally calm waves. The bay measures about half mile long.
Hanauma Bay Hawaii is frequented by tourists with the picture-perfect scenes and good waters for water activities. There are also great restaurants and resorts where you can have a great time.

Do you enjoy taking vacations to beautiful places?
Then you should visit Diamond Head Hawaii.
There is a volcanic tuff cone called Diamond Head that is located on the Hawaiian island of O’ahu.
It is on the eastern side of the coastline for Waikiki. The thing that makes this monument unique is that it was formed around 300,000 years ago. That makes it one of the oldest monuments in the U.S.
This crater is known as a United States State Monument and part of it is used for a platform for antennas that is placed there by the U.S. government. The public can’t visit this volcanic crater, but its close proximity to the beaches and hotels in Honolulu makes it the perfect vacation destination.
There is a hike that you can participate in while visiting beautiful Hawaii that will lead you to the edge of the craters rim. This is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. Anyone that decides to enjoy this hike is encouraged to bring water and flashlights.
The hike is said to be an easy one, but the trail is unpaved winds over rocks that are uneven. Plus there are 74 steps going up the trail and then you will go through a tunnel that leads to another 99 steps.
Then there is another small tunnel, which built back in 1908, that you need a flashlight for that leads to a narrow spiral staircase consisting of about 30 steps and is inside the coastal artillery observation platform.
From this vantage point you will be able to see the Waikiki and Pacific Ocean in detail that can not be seen from other areas. This provides you with a unique view that not a lot of people will get to experience in their lifetime.
The sight of bunkers that date back to World War II is another thing that makes the trip memorable. This trail was built in 1908 as a military defense. These are not things that you will find in many places in the U.S. anymore.
So if you want a unique experience to see a natural wonder then a trip to Diamond Head Hawaii is definitely the place for you to visit. Plan your vacation here now because it will definitely be an experience you will never forget.
